Jaipur, Nov. 25 -- Rajasthan Police and the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gujarat, signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding on Monday at the Police Headquarters to strengthen academic, training and research cooperation in the field of national and internal security. The agreement aims to expand research-based reforms in policing and boost field-level capabilities. Under the MoU, both institutions will collaborate on smart policing, security innovations and professional capacity-building programs to make Rajasthan's internal and public security systems more robust. Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma said the state has consistently been adopting best policing practices, and the innovations developed by the university are proving beneficial for the entire country. He added that with the university's collaboration, Rajasthan Police will be able to function with greater efficiency, leading to a marked improvement in professional competence and operational capability across the force. Sharma said that the MoU will enable more systematic and effective work in key areas such as smart policing, cyber security, digital forensics and internal security.
