Sikar coaching centre's caretaker held for rape
Bharatpur/Sikar, April 27 -- A coaching centre caretaker was arrested for raping a 17-year-old female student on Sunday in Sikar district, police said.
A man filed a complaint against the caretaker of the coaching centre for raping his daughter, police said. The victim was preparing for the Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) joint entrance test at the coaching centre in Sikar district.
Ringas police station in-charge Dilip Singh said that after the complaint was registered under the Pocso Act, police arrested the caretaker. A motorcycle was also recovered from the centre.
The complaint stated that the girl joined the coaching centre in March. Due to a migraine episode, she was taken to a hospital by the caretaker in March, where he allegedly recorded obscene video clips of her, police said. On April 23, he again took her to a hospital under the pretext of treatment, but instead took her to a hotel and raped her, police said, adding that he threatened to circulate the obscene videos if she revealed the incident.
The victim was subsequently taken to a hospital for a medical examination and her statements were recorded, police said....
