Sewa Pakhwada initiative set clear example of good governance: CM
Jaipur, Oct. 30 -- The Rajasthan government, under chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma, has intensified its focus on public welfare through large-scale Urban and Rural Service Camps aimed at delivering governance to citizens' doorsteps.
Launched on September 17 to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, the campaign has emerged as a flagship example of people-centric administration, resolving lakhs of public grievances across the state and bringing together 18 key government departments under one roof to provide instant services, benefits, and civic solutions.
A release from the CM's office states that launched to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, the initiative reflects Sharma's people-centric governance approach and embodies the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas. The administration has reached citizens' doorsteps, ensuring responsive and transparent service delivery.
So far, over 1.99 lakh land leases have been distributed and more than 2.67 lakh Mangla Pashu Bima insurance policies issued. In addition, more than 1.25 lakh birth, death, and marriage registrations, 2.08 lakh caste certificates, and 1.75 lakh domicile certificates issued.
Public welfare and health initiatives have been a key focus-over 17 lakh adolescent girls and pregnant women underwent anemia screening, and more than 10.96 lakh citizens were tested for tuberculosis. Over 24.84 lakh patients have received medical treatment during the campaign.
The camps have also verified over 2 lakh social security pensioners, opened 1.51 lakh Jan Dhan bank accounts, and installed or repaired 1.42 lakh street lights.
