Jaipur, May 16 -- In the wake of Pahalgam terror attack, the entire country wanted retribution which the armed forces have given through Operation Sindoor by striking into the heart of Pakistan, chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Thursday during the "Tiranga Yatra". These are changed times," said Sharma at the starting of the rally from Abert Hall. BJP is holding a "Tiranga Yatra" as part of its nationwide outreach to honour the armed forces in the wake of Operation Sindoor. Meanwhile, a controversy erupted after BJP MLA from Jaipur's Hawa Mahal, Swami Balmukundacharya aka Sanjay Sharma was allegedly wiping nose with national flag during the "Tiranga yatra". During the rally, a purported video on the social media showed that the MLA was seen carrying a poster hailing Operation Sindoor while wiping his nose with a folded national flag. However, when he realised that the piece of cloth in his hand was the national flag, he could be seen quickly handing it over to another person and using a different cloth to wipe his face. Posting a video of the incident on X, the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee demanded an apology from the MLA. "How long India will tolerate such insult of the national flag. BJP MLA Balmukundacharya should apologise," they wrote on X. However, no statement either from the MLA or the BJP has yet been issued on this matter....
