Jaipur, May 24 -- The Rajasthan state industrial development and investment corporation (RIICO) has approved a Rs.45 Crore fund on Friday for the development of Jaipur's Vishwakarma Industrial area, said officials. The industry minister Rajya Vardhan Singh Rathore, said, "RIICO's effort is to enable entrepreneurs to operate their enterprises in industrial areas without any hassle. In this regard, RIICO has sanctioned an amount of about Rs. 28 crore for Vishwakarma and Vishwakarma-Extension, Jaipur in the financial year 2024-25 and issued work orders worth about Rs. 17 crore." "Under this, some of the works like asphalting of roads/construction of cement concrete roads, upgradation of drains and shifting of overhead power line to underground cable in both the industrial areas have been completed and the remaining works are in progress," Rathore said. "From time to time, RIICO is continuously upgrading and maintaining the infrastructure facilities in these industrial areas in accordance with their demands by discussing with the associations and entrepreneurs in these areas," he added.
