Jaipur, June 26 -- More than a month after the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) initiated segregated collection of waste across eight wards of the city, the garbage lifting is not being carried out separately for wet and dry waste. The residents too are clueless about the difference between the types of waste.

The segregated waste collection was initiated in the eight wards - number 21, 24, 43, 40, 61, 87, 84 and 45 - on May 20. However, the city residents lacked awareness on the issue. In several areas, residents complained that door-to-door garbage collection was also not being done regularly.
