Rajasthan to have 48 model liquor shops soon
Jaipur, July 2 -- The state excise department will roll out 48 premium "model liquor shops" across key urban centres, including malls, shopping complexes, and designated commercial zones, as part of its 2025-2029 liquor policy, an official said on Tuesday.

"The minimum reserve price for model shops in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Mount Abu, and Abu Road is Rs.1 crore per outlet. In other locations, it is set at Rs.50 lakh. The online auction is scheduled for July 7, with a non-refundable participation fee of Rs.50,000 per shop. Bidders can increase their bid by no more than 10% over the base price in a single attempt," he further said.
