Barmer, Dec. 19 -- Rajasthan is set to receive up to 577 million cubic metres (MCM) of Yamuna water during the monsoon months, following a formal agreement signed between Haryana and Rajasthan with the Centre's involvement, the Union government has confirmed. The information was shared in the Lok Sabha on Monday in response to a question by Ghanshyam Tiwari on the inter-state sharing of Yamuna water. The ministry of jal shakti said a MoU was signed on February 17, 2024, between the governments of Haryana and Rajasthan for the preparation of a DPR for transferring Yamuna water from Hathnikund Barrage through underground pipelines. htc...
