raj Mining Dept achieves record Rs.4,404 cr revenue
Jaipur, Oct. 10 -- The Rajasthan Department of Mines and Geology has achieved an all-time record in revenue collection, depositing Rs.4,404.98 crore into the state treasury by October 8.
Principal Secretary (Mines) T Ravikant said, "This is the highest-ever revenue collected by the department up to this period in any financial year and marks an increase of Rs.60 crore compared to the same period last year and nearly Rs.100 crore more than the previous year before that."
Ravikant emphasized that the mining sector remains one of the state's key revenue contributors. "All possible sources - including pending dues, amnesty cases, fines from illegal mining, and RCC-ERCC recoveries - must be pursued actively.
