Raj leads as 99.81% SIR forms digitised
Jaipur, Dec. 5 -- With 99.81% enumeration forms (EFs) being digitised by Thursday, Rajasthan has emerged as one of the leading states in digitisation under the ongoing special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
Chief electoral officer Naveen Mahajan said that 54.5 million enumeration forms have already been uploaded on the ECI-Net portal, keeping Rajasthan firmly in the first position among the state while only the Union territory of Lakshwadeep is ahead with 100% digitisation by Thursday, showed data.
According to the data, shared by the Election Department, Rajasthan, where 54.5 million of EFs have been distributed across 52,222 booths and 16 districts where digitisation was finished.
According to the data, digitisation work in Sawai Madhopur, Nagaur, Chittorgarh, Sikar, Pali, Jhunjhunu, Deeg, Rajsamand, Baran, Dausa, Churu, Bharatpur, Phalodi, Salumber, Jhalawar, Balotra, and Barmer have been completed.
Apart from these 16 districts, the maximum work has been done in Pratapgrah and Kotputli with 99.99% followed by Didwana with 99.98%, and Dholpur with 99.97%.
CEO Mahajan expressed satisfaction over the state's progress and directed district election officials to provide additional digital equipment, resources and administrative support wherever needed to further accelerate the pace of work. More than 3,000 BLOs have already completed 100% work at their respective booths. On average, each BLO in the state has digitised around 754 forms. In the last five days, Rajasthan has recorded an average daily progress rate of 5.78%.
