JODHPUR, March 19 -- Amidst a preliminary inquiry into serious allegations, the Rajasthan High Court administration has suspended Rajendra Sahu, the additional district and sessions judge posted in Bhinmal, with immediate effect. Acting on the orders of the acting chief justice, this action has been taken pursuant to Rule 13 of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1958, and a Full Court Resolution. According to the order issued by the Registrar General, a preliminary inquiry is currently underway against Sahu-an officer of the District Judge cadre-involving six separate matters containing serious allegations. This decision has been taken to prevent the inquiry from being influenced. During the period of suspension, Sahu's headquarters has been designated as the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur.
