Jaipur, Sept. 22 -- Chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Sunday said the state will launch a public awareness campaign, "GST Savings Utsav', from September 22 to 29. Addressing a meeting of ministers and MLAs via video conferencing at the Chief Minister's Office regarding GST rates, he said the campaign aims to educate consumers about the benefits of GST rate reductions and encourage businesses to leverage the simplified tax structure. Sharma directed the ministers and MLAs to actively promote the GST Savings Utsav in their respective constituencies. He urged them to educate local shopkeepers about the benefits of reduced GST rates and ensure these benefits reach consumers. He suggested using hoardings, banners, and stickers to publicize the campaign, and conducting meetings with traders' associations, chambers of commerce, and tax groups. He also emphasized using social media and newspapers to ensure maximum outreach of the campaign.
