Jaipur, Nov. 3 -- Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has directed all district collectors to prioritize the review and resolution of problems faced by soldiers who were injured during security operations and later retired.
Emphasizing the state's commitment to honouring their service, Sharma said, "These brave soldiers who have dedicated their lives to the safety of the nation and society are our pride. There must be no delay at any level in addressing matters related to their respect and rehabilitation."
The CM instructed officials to pay special attention to the cases of soldiers injured during anti-terror operations and those struggling with financial or health issues post-retirement. He said district administrations must play an active role in ensuring that eligible soldiers, martyrs' families, and those disabled in war or operations receive full benefits of government schemes, pensions, and welfare provisions.
He instructed district collectors to monitor all such cases in their respective areas and, if necessary, organize special camps to address their grievances....
