Jaipur, July 29 -- To make passport services more accessible to army personnel and their families, the Jaipur Regional Passport Office on Monday flagged off the "SAMPARK" Mobile Passport Seva Van from Jhalana. The mobile facility was flagged off by Regional Passport Officer Vipul Dev. Brigadier Rahul Bhatnagar, in charge of veterans' welfare at South Western Command, inaugurated the operations at the Cantonment area in the presence of passport officials and applicants. Calling it an innovative campaign, Brigadier Bhatnagar welcomed the effort to bridge the access gap for military families. "The initiative aims to provide passport-related services directly at the doorstep of Indian Army personnel, both serving and retired, as well as their families," he said. Under the first phase of the campaign, the mobile van will operate from July 28 to August 1 at Jaipur Cantonment, with assistance from South Western Command Headquarters.htc...
