Jaipur, Dec. 24 -- The Rajasthan Assembly's Ethics Committee has once again summoned three MLAs accused of seeking commission from MLA development funds. Notices have been issued directing them to appear before the committee on January 6. Those summoned include BJP legislator Revantram Danga (Khinwsar), Congress MLA Anita Jatav (Hindaun), and Independent MLA Ritu Banawat (Bayana). An official said the committee decided to question all three on the same day instead of separate dates. Separately, the panel has also summoned BAP MLA Jaykrishna Patel for questioning on January 7. Patel was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in May while allegedly accepting a bribe. The ACB investigator handling his case has also been called to appear. The three MLAs were earlier questioned individually on December 19 but sought more time to produce evidence. Danga requested 15 days, Jatav seven, and Banawat ten; the committee accepted their pleas. Ethics Committee chairman Kailash Verma said the MLAs must now appear "fully prepared with all supporting evidence, documents, and any audio-video material." He added the panel had also obtained a sting video from the journalist who conducted the operation. "If the MLAs dispute the voices, the video may be sent for forensic examination," he said....
