Over 200 RAS officers shifted in major admin reshuffle: Govt
Jaipur, Sept. 16 -- In a major administrative reshuffle on Monday, the Rajasthan government transferred 222 Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers, including appointments to key positions in universities and ministerial offices, an official statement from the government said .
According to the statement, additional commissioner of the Commercial Tax Department, Mohan Dan Ratnu, has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the chief minister. Similarly, Ashok Kumar Yogi, Deputy Secretary in the Forest Department, has been transferred as Special Assistant (SA) to Forest and Environment Minister Sanjay Sharma.
Senior RAS officer Aslam Sher Khan has been transferred to Minority Affair Department has joint secretary; Anandi Lal Vaishnav to home department; and Narendra Bansal to Jaipur Nagar Nigam, Greater as Additional Commissioner.
Nine universities across Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Alwar, and Bikaner have seen changes at the registrar level in the latest reshuffle. Ashu Chaudhary has been appointed as Registrar of Rajasthan University, while Rajpal Singh, previously CEO of District Council Kota, will now take charge as Registrar of Kota University.
Bhavana Sharma, who earlier held the post at Kota University, has been transferred to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota, as its Registrar.
In the reshuffle, three RAS officers under Awaiting Posting Orders (APO) have been appointed as registrars: Kashmir Kor Ron at Govind Guru Tribal University, Banswara; Dr. Gunjan Soni at Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur; and Mamta Yadav at Baba Amte Divyang University, Jaipur.
