We reached the booth to convince them. Most of their demands were also fulfilled. Yet, we are clueless why they didn't cast votes. Only one vote was casted at around 4 pm in the entire booth." The villagers started their protest at around 8 am soon after the voting started. "Our village lacks some basic facilities. The road towards the crematorium is also so poor that we can't reach there during monsoon and the cremation is done in makeshift set-ups," said a protesting villager, Arvind Meena.
