NOTICE TO sweet shop after 12 COPS hospitalised
Jaipur, Dec. 14 -- State health department has issued a notice to a prominent confectionery store in Jaipur on Saturday as 12 police personnel fell sick allegedly after consuming a sweet item.
Jaipur CMHO, Dr Ravi Shekhawat, said, "The incident took place on Friday evening when a group of police personnel ordered two-kg gajar ka halwa from a Tonk Road-based sweet shop. After consuming it, they all started vomiting and some of them also fainted." He added that their condition is stable.
Following the development the health department issued a notice to the shop. " We didn't get any sample of the product, we collected the equipment they use to make the particular product for a test in our lab," he said.
"We are waiting for the test result. Necessary action will be taken accordingly," the CMHO added. htc...
