Jaipur, Nov. 14 -- After the arrests of three terrorists who received a huge arms consignment from Hanumangarh-Sriganganagar region in Rajasthan, the Sriganganagar district administration banned the night time movement of vehicles and usage of Pakistan-based SIM cards within 3 kilometres range of the border areas. The order was issued by the district collector Dr Manju on Wednesday night. "The movement of any common people at three kilometres range from the Pakistan border area will be banned between 7 pm to 6 am till the further order," it says. The order added that, "The ban will be enforced in the entire sub-divisions of Sriganganagar city, Srikaranpur, Anupgarh, Raisingnagar, and Padampur. The farmers may take prior permission from the army officials or the BSF officials to visit their fields near the border area," said the collector in the copy of the order In a separate order, the district collector issued further instructions. "The networks of the Pakistan-based towers in the border areas actively function till three to four kilometres range in Sriganganagar. Hence, anyone from the Indian continent can smoothly use a Pakistani SIM in those regions. In view of our national security, any use of local Pakistani SIM cards will be banned in our district in future. The officials are hereby directed to block such numbers that are already being used," she said....
