NEP 2020 deeply rooted in Indian ethos and moral values: Bagade
Jaipur, May 16 -- Moral have been a fundamental pillar of Indian culture and the new National Education Policy, 2020 is deeply rooted in Indian ethos and moral values, emphasising Indian culture and noble life principles, governor Haribhau Bagade said on Thursday.
"Vinoba Bhave had once said that just as the national flag was changed after independence, the education policy should have been changed as well - but that did not happen. In this context, a thousand educationists have now come together to formulate a new National Education Policy for the country. This policy is deeply rooted in Indian ethos and moral values, emphasising Indian culture and noble life principles. Teachers must educate and guide students in the light of this new policy," Bagade said
Addressing the 34th convocation ceremony of the University of Rajasthan on Thursday, he referred to Maharshi Aurobindo and emphasised on awakening the inner self and enhancing children's intellectual capacities....
