Jaipur, Nov. 11 -- The state's Anti-Corruption Bureau has initiated a search for an inspector in the central narcotics control bureau for allegedly demanding a bribe through a middleman, who was arrested on Monday, police said. The middleman, Akram Hussain, was arrested when he arrived at Kota's Bhavanimandi to take the bribe on behalf of accused Hitesh Kumar, said DG (ACB) Govind Gupta. "Prima facie, the inspector allegedly implicated the victim's father in a false case and demanded a bribe to release him," said Gupta, adding that the accused demanded Rs.3 lakh "Although Kumar did not receive the money himself, he was present at the spot and was waiting near a car," said Gupta....
