Barmer, Sept. 24 -- Union minister and Barmer MP Kailash Choudhary has demanded a relaxation in visa norms for Pakistani women married to Indians. He wrote to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, urging a leeway in visa regulations in case of cross-border weddings.

The BJP MP, in his letter, said that while many cross-border marriages have taken place in his constituency, the brides, in most cases, haven't been issued visas by the Indian embassy in Pakistan because of which they are not being able to visit their in-laws across the border.
