Jaipur, Nov. 3 -- A 22-year-old woman and her one-year-old son drowned after falling into a water-filled mine in Rampali village of Kekri subdivision, Ajmer district, police said on Sunday. Inspector of the Kekadi Sadar police station, Nahar Singh Meena, said, "The incident took place at around 11 am on Saturday morning. The body of the infant was recovered and sent for an autopsy. However, the woman could not be traced yet and the SDRF team is searching for her." "...we called an SDRF team on Sunday morning when civil defence team failed to recover her body. She is still missing. We are putting efforts to recover her quickly," said Meena. He said the woman slipped and fell into the mines, which is 200 metre wide and 15-20 feet deep.
