Jaipur, Oct. 23 -- Sachin Mittal, a 1997-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the new police commissioner of Jaipur in the latest reshuffle of 34 IPS officers in Rajasthan, a release said. Mittal, who has been serving as the addition director general of recruitment and promotion board since June 2023, had earlier served as IG of Jodhpur range and also police commissioner in Jodhpur city. He also served as SP in five districts. The ADG of CID Dinesh MN was given charge of the Anti-Gangster Task Force and the Anti-Narcotics Task Force.
