minor stabbed to death by two, tension in jaipur
Jaipur, Feb. 24 -- Tension sparked in Jaipur after a 17-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death by two men over a personal feud, police said on Monday.
The additional DCP of Jaipur (North), Bajrang Singh, said, "The incident took place inside the Bhatta Basti when two men launched a sudden attack on the victim, Adil Khan, near his house and stabbed him to death."
According to the officials, the two accused - Arbaaz and Sameer - had some personal feud with the victim for the last few months. "The reason of their rivalry is yet not clear but they engaged in brawl several times in public earlier," said Singh.
On Sunday night, they entered the slum area, attacked Adil with a knife, stabbed him multiple times and fled the spot.
"Soon after the incident, locals gathered in the area, rushed him to a hospital where he was declared dead. Later, his family members and neighbours started a protest demanding immediate action against the culprits," he said.
The protest continued even on Monday following which the police deployed an additional force in the area.
An FIR was also lodged against Arbaz, Sameer and some unidentified people under section 103 (murder) of BNS. "We detained Arbaz and Sameer on Monday and are questioning them. Victim's body was sent for an autopsy. Further probe is underway," said Singh. htc...
