Bharatpur, Nov. 1 -- A third-year MBBS student of Jagannath Pahadia medical college in Bharatpur died by suicide on Friday in Bharatpur, police said. According to police, the deceased was a 23-year-old resident of Alwar district. On being informed, police rushed him to district Raj Bahadur Memorial hospital where doctors declared him dead. His classmates learnt about the incident when he did not appear in the exam on Friday at 10am. His colleagues, reached his hostel room and tried to open the door but he didn't open. They broke the door and saw him hanging by the ceiling fan. College principal Ajay Kukreja said he was in depression due to his performance in the exams. Sewar police station in-charge, Satish Sharma, said that the Forensic Science Laboratory team was also called to the spot for investigation. Family members of the deceased were informed about the incident. The body will be handed over to family members after post-mortem. The cause of the suicide will be investigated, police said.htc...
