India, Feb. 7 -- Actor Manoj Bajpayee has issued a clarification after an FIR was filed against the makers of his upcoming Netflix film, Ghooskhor Pandat for allegedly hurting religious statements. Writing alongside director Neeraj Pandey's statement (inset), Manoj shared on X, "I respect the emotions and concerns people have shared... When something you are part of causes hurt to some people, it makes you pause and listen." The 56-year-old clarified that the intention wasn't to hurt any community."For me, this was about portraying a flawed individual and his journey of self-realisation. This was not meant to be a statement about any community," he added. Manoj also revealed that 'in the light of public sentiment' the promotional material of the film being taken down for the time being. Neeraj, in his statement, said that the story of Ghooskhor Pandat is fictional and has nothing to do with any caste or community. "It focuses on an individual's actions and choices and does not comment on or represent any caste, religion, or community.
