Man murdered by six men, probe on: Cops
Udaipur, Jan. 7 -- A man was murdered in Rajsamand's Guda village on Tuesday, police said.
According to police, around six unidentified assailants attacked a man identified as Himmat Singh at a village square, repeatedly striking him with sharp-edged swords.
When locals Laxman Singh and Mohan Singh tried to intervene and save Himmat Singh, the attackers also assaulted them, leaving both seriously injured. After carrying out the attack, the accused fled from the spot. Himmat Singh was rushed in critical condition to the Nathdwara District Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The injured men are undergoing treatment.
Police said "A murder case has been registered and teams have been formed to identify and arrest the accused."
SHO said the motive behind the attack is yet to be ascertained. Further investigation is underway, and efforts are on to trace the accused at the earliest....
