Bharatpur, Dec. 17 -- A 50-year-old man was booked for raping a minor in Dholpur on Tuesday, police said. According to police, the incident took place on Monday, when the accused, a terminated Rajasthan armed constabulary (RAC) constable called the survivor to his residence promising her to provide a job. The girl arrived at his house with her brother. Later, the accused sent her brother to the market for some errands, and raped the minor. After hearing her scream, people of the colony reached the spot but the accused fled away. Superintendent of police Vikas Sangwan said family members registered a complaint against the accused under section BNS 64 and protection of children against sexual offences (Pocso).
