Jaipur, Oct. 30 -- A 20-year-old man in Alwar was brutally assaulted by two people for demanding Rs.15,000 as wages which was due for over a month, said police officers. Aravalli Vihar inspector, Rameshwar Lal, said, "The incident took place on Tuesday evening. The three accused are his contractors who called him at their place and brutally assaulted him with sharp objects causing injuries." According to the officials, the victim, Shaukeen Khan, is a chisel labour in Alwar who had been working based on contracts for the three accused, Hazardeen, his brother Saikul and nephew Alpheen. "The victim had a pending payment of about Rs.15,000 for over a month which he had been demanding from the three. On Tuesday, they called him at his home. Shaukeen along with his brother Shareef reached the place when the three launched a brutal attack on them," said Lal. Initially, they tied Shaukeen's hands and legs and then started beating with sticks and some sharp objects which caused multiple injuries on the victim's body. "They also assaulted Shareef and verbally abused them. However, Shaukeen's injury was serious and later Shareef rushed him to the hospital where he is undergoing treatment," said the inspector. Following the development, Shareef lodged a complaint against the three at the Aravalli Vihar police station under section of voluntarily causing hurt under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). "The three are now absconding. We are searching for them. We will also conduct a medical examination of the victim. Further investigation is underway," said Lal....
