Love for PM Modi is on a decline, says RLP chief
Jaipur, May 26 -- RLP chief and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal on Sunday claimed that the popularity graph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come down. Commenting on the PM's recent rally in Bikaner, Beniwal said that it was a failed meeting as government employees were called to fill the dome.
Beniwal addressed 'Aakrosh Rally' in Jaipur's Mansarover to press for his demand of cancellation of SI-Recruitment exam 2021 following paper leak scam and reconstitution of Rajasthan Public Service Commission.
Taking a jibe at the PM's meeting in Bikaner, he said that despite using all the machinery, ministers and leaders of BJP, the government employees had to be called to fill the dome.
"It seems that the love and affection of people in the country is slowly declining for Modi. The youth is asking for employment," he said.
Beniwal said that the youths wanted Operation Sindoor which was very important but why PoK was not taken over.
"To hide your failure, you are holding a rally in Bikaner. You even do not know that blood runs through veins and not "Sindoor". Nothing can be a bigger insult of the country than this. Sindoor is a symbol of our tradition," he said.
While addressing the rally in Bikaner, Modi had said that "Sindoor" ran in his veins and not blood. He said that the PM insulted Rajasthan by making "Parchi ka CM" (announcing the name of CM through a paper slip). On the issue of paper leak, he said that the paper mafia has become dominant and RPSC has become a hub of corruption.
"A minister's granddaughter is caught cheating in an exam but the CM cannot speak. He should at least speak on it," he said.
The RLP MP said that the BJP leaders had promised in elections that SI recruitment will be cancelled and a CBI probe will be ordered and, RPSC will be reconstituted and the kingpin behind the paper leaks will be arrested.
"They have come to power but nothing such has happened. RPSC chairman was also not probed," he said.
Beniwal reiterated that while RLP is committed to a peaceful and democratic struggle, the fight for justice will continue until all demands are fulfilled.
"We are not here to create a law and order problem, but we will not back down. If the government remains silent, this movement will spread to every district. Today we are in Jaipur-tomorrow we will surround the Assembly building," he said.
Beniwal said that RLP is just a party of protests, it is becoming a strong political alternative and choice for people.
He said that the next government in Rajasthan will be of the youth, by the youth and for the honest. In response to the massive gathering and rising public pressure, the state government sent senior officials to the venue.
BJP spokesperson Laxmikant Bharadwaj said that Beniwal is known for making baseless allegations and statements to gain media attention....
