Jaipur, June 14 -- The Commander of the Sri Lankan Army, Lt Gen BKGM Lasantha Rodrigo, arrived in Jaipur for a significant two-day visit from June 12-13, 2025, further strengthening defense ties between India and Sri Lanka. He was warmly received by Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of South Western Command. An official release states during his visit, Lt Gen Rodrigo held extensive discussions with army officials on regional security, joint training initiatives, capacity development, and the exchange of best practices.
