Alwar, May 13 -- Rajasthan Leader of Opposition, Tikaram Jully, expressed surprise over India's sudden decision to declare a ceasefire amid ongoing tensions and retaliatory military actions against Pakistan over cross-border terrorism. Addressing a press conference, Jully questioned the rationale behind the ceasefire, especially when Pakistan continues to sponsor terrorism and Indian forces were effectively responding with strong retaliatory actions. He demanded to know on what basis the ceasefire was agreed upon and called for an all-party meeting to clarify the circumstances surrounding this decision. "When the Indian Army is giving a befitting reply to Pakistan, what sense does a sudden ceasefire make? The government must explain this through a parliamentary session," Jully said.
