KOTA, June 19 -- Trade and industry in Rajasthan suffered around Rs.5,000-crore loss due to Covid-19 lockdown for one and a half months in the second wave, according to the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), even as easing of restrictions from June 2 with a dip in infections has given some relief to businesses.

After imposing a 'public discipline curfew' from April 19 following a surge in Covid-19 cases in the second wave, the Rajasthan government had imposed a complete lockdown in the state from May 10 to May 24, which was later extended till June 8.
