IIT Jodhpur launches happiness initiative
Jodhpur, June 1 -- The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur) has partnered with the Rekhi Foundation for Happiness to launch the Science of Happiness Initiative, officials familiar with the matter said.
The Science of Happiness Initiative, anchored by IIT Jodhpur's School of Liberal Arts (SoLA), was formally launched with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday by Satinder Singh Rekhi, founder of the Rekhi Foundation for Happiness, and professor Kaushal Desai, dean of resources and alumni affairs, IIT Jodhpur.
As part of this collaboration, IIT Jodhpur will also establish a state-of-the-art Behavioural Science Lab, providing students and researchers with the tools and space to explore happiness science through empirical and applied methods.
