Bharatpur, Oct. 4 -- A man, along with two of his associates, was arrested on Friday in relation to the murder of his wife and another man in Karauli, police said. According to police, the accused, Bhura Meena, 35, filed a missing persons complaint on September 27, in which he said that his wife, Ranjita Devi, had failed to return home after leaving to purchase clothes. Following an investigation, Ranjita Devi's body was found alongside that of another man, Niranjan Meena, 35, near Kumravatpur village on October 1, said police. Based on a complaint by Bhanwar Lal Meena, the father of Niranjan Meena, a case of murder was registered against Bhoora Meena, said Lokesh Kanwal, Karauli superintendent of police. An investigation revealed that the accused allegedly suspected his wife's fidelity, and murdered her and Meena after luring them to a nearby forest along with two of his associates, Kamal Meena, 52, and Ramkesh Meena, 40, said Kanwal. The bodies were returned to family members after the post-mortem examination, he said, adding that the accused were charged under section 103 (murder) and other relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)....
