The director of Jaipur Meteorological Center, Radheshyam Sharma, stated that the monsoon trough currently stretches from Bikaner, Jaipur, Datia, and Sidhi to Puri in Odisha, reaching the Bay of Bengal. Another trough passes through Punjab, Haryana, and northeastern Rajasthan. A low-pressure system formed over the Bay of Bengal on Tuesday is expected to cause more rain in Rajasthan until September 7.
Galta Teerth saw 15-20 people trapped in knee-deep water behind the temple walls, and water also entered the Kaal Hanuman Ji temple.
