Bikaner, July 11 -- The government will be inaugurating the state's first Girls' Sainik School in Jaimalsar village of Bikaner district on Friday, an official familiar with the matter said. "Built at a cost of Rs.108 crore, the modern residential campus will be inaugurated this Friday by education minister Madan Dilawar and Union law minister Arjun Ram Meghwal. The school will begin its academic journey in July 2026, offering 80 seats each in Classes 6 and 9. Admission will be through a competitive entrance exam conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education," said Mahenrda Sharma, chief district education officer.
