Govt rushes to fill vacancies in Border areas
Bikaner/Barmer, May 10 -- In a bid to strengthen its administrative apparatus along the sensitive India-Pakistan border, the Rajasthan government has initiated a large-scale reshuffle and appointment drive, posting seasoned officers in critical posts in all border districts. The government's late-night order on May 8 saw the transfer and appointment of 9 Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers, primarily at the sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) level, across strategically vital districts such as Sri Ganganagar, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, and Barmer.
