Barmer, Feb. 28 -- The state government is considering to revive the 250 MW Giral Lignite Power Plant in Barmer's Giral village, which has been non-operational for nearly a decade, an official in the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) said. Besides, a new 1100 MW lignite-based thermal power project is proposed, utilising surplus low-sulfur lignite from BLMCL's Jalipa and Kapurdi mines....
