Jaipur, July 9 -- Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday said that the state government is dedicated to public welfare and, with this spirit, is organising the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Fortnight to ensure the benefits of government welfare schemes reach the last person in society. "The government is working for the upliftment of the poor, farmers, youth, and women, and is committed to fulfilling every promise made in its manifesto to accelerate the vision of a prosperous and developed Rajasthan. We are organising the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Fortnight to ensure the benefits of government welfare schemes reach the last person in society," Sharma said. Addressing a gathering in Churu during a programme, the CM said that long-pending issues such as removal of encroachments from roads and conferring land ownership are being resolved through these camps. "Under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Poverty-Free Village Scheme, surveys of BPL families are being conducted in 10,000 villages, linking them to various government schemes. The camps are also providing critical services like plant distribution to farmers, soil sample collection, soil health cards, animal insurance under the Mangla scheme, and livestock treatment and vaccination," he said....
