Barmer, July 24 -- Body of a 14-year-old girl was found at a government girls hostel in Barmer district on Wednesday, police said, suspecting it to be a case of suicide. According to police, the Class 9 student had attended her classes in the morning and then went to the hostel with others for lunch. "While other students returned to the class, she did not come back, raising suspicion among her teachers." "One of the teachers sent a student to check on her at the hostel who then found the body. On receiving information, the hostel warden and school staff rushed the girl to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared her dead," police said.
