Bharatpur, Sept. 14 -- A school girl was killed while two others were injured after they were crushed by a school bus at a school gate in Karauli district on Saturday, police said. The accident took place under Nadoti police station limits, police said, adding that the bus driver is since absconding. The deceased was identified as 5-year-old Riya Kumari, police said. The incident led to local protests after villagers created a road blockade and demanded the arrest of the driver and the director, police said, adding that peace was eventually restored.
