Gehlot should focus on ground reality of state, says BJP leader
Jaipur, March 29 -- Senior BJP leader Rajendra Rathore on Saturday took a dig at the former chief minister Ashok Gehlot saying that he must focus more on the ground reality of the state's development scenario than highlighting incomplete projects.
Referring to Gehlot's latest series on X titled"intejaar-shastra", Rathore said: "When the world is dealing with a huge crisis for fuel and cooking gas, he is busy making some bizarre comments on his X which has no factual reality. When our CM Bhajan Lal Sharma is calling for an all-party meeting to discuss the LPG crisis due to the ongoing war in West Asia, the leader of opposition Tikaram Jully extends his support to stand with the government but the Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra and many other leaders started criticising the government over different issues. It shows how fractious this Congress is."
He also reminded that the BJP leaders, while being on the opposition unit during the last term of the Gehlot-led Congress gOvernemnt, extended their full support to the administration during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of the time of going to print, Gehlot did not respond to HT's requests for comment....
