Behror, Oct. 23 -- A 21-year-old wanted gangster and active shooter of the Rohit Godara gang carrying a reward of Rs.25,000 was arrested, police said. The accused, identified as Abhishek alias Batar, was caught while trying to evade arrest disguised as a rural woman wearing a ghaghra and lugdi. Superintendent of police Devendra Bishnoi said the notorious criminal, wanted in a serious case registered at Kotputli police station, had changed his appearance to avoid capture and was planning to commit a major crime in Behror. Acting on specific intelligence, Quick Response Teams (QRT) of the district police launched a swift and precise operation leading to his arrest on Tuesday. During the operation, police seized a large cache of weapons from the accused's possession, including three country-made pistols, 12 live cartridges, and an extra magazine. SP Bishnoi said Abhishek, son of Pappu Ram Gurjar, a resident of Molahera under Paniyala police station, has a criminal history with eight serious cases already registered against him in different police stations. A fresh case has now been filed under the Arms Act and relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Behror police station. Earlier on October 14, Amit Sharma aka Jack Pandit, who had been working for gangster Rohit Godara and formerly was part of Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar's gang, was held by the Rajasthan Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) in USA....
