four flee after robbing house of Cong leader
Jaipur, May 15 -- Four persons including two servants absconded after they robbed the house of senior Congress leader Sandeep Chaudhary in Jaipur. The miscreants served spiked tea to Chaudhary's wife and mother on Wednesday morning, said officials.
Station house officer of the Vaishali Nagar police station, Ravindra Singh Narooka, said, "The incident took place early on Wednesday morning when Chaudhary's wife Mamata (43) and mother Krishna (75) were having tea at the dining space. Chaudhary was away from home while his 10-year-old son and 22-year-old daughter were inside a room."
According to the police, the robbery was committed by their two servants and their two other accomplices.
"The family had hired the a Nepalese couple only 10 days ago. Prima facie, their verification was also not done so far as per the Jaipur police's rules," said Narooka.
"We are checking the CCTV footages of the house and tracking their movement. Further investigation is underway," said SHO. An FIR has been filed under relevant sections of BNS....
