Emraan Hashmi Takes a Brief Pause from Shoot After Dengue Diagnosis
India, May 30 -- Actor Emraan Hashmi is currently on a temporary break from work after being diagnosed with dengue, we have learnt.
The actor had been actively shooting for his upcoming pan-Indian film OG, which also stars Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan.
Sources close to the production reveal that Emraan began feeling unwell while filming in Mumbai's Aarey Colony, Goregaon - a location known for its dense greenery but also unfortunately prone to mosquito-borne illnesses during this season. "He started showing symptoms while on set and was advised to rest and recover. He's currently recuperating," a production insider told us.
OG marks Emraan's foray into Telugu cinema. He will be seen playing a pivotal role in the action-drama. The actor has also been shooting for Adivi Sesh's G2.
While the news of his illness came as a temporary setback, the team remains optimistic. "We're hopeful that Emraan will be back on set soon once he makes a full recovery," the source adds....
