Jaipur, Nov. 8 -- The five-member-panel formed by the education department is all set to submit its report by next week on the death of a nine-year-old student who died after falling from the fourth floor of a private school on November 1. "We have spoken to her teachers, classmates, and other school staff. Prima facie, she was not willing to visit the school on the day of the incident. However, the fact will be ascertained after we will speak to her parents. They are yet not in position to speak to us. As soon as we speak to them, we will submit our report to the education minister by next week," said Jaipur district education officer, Ramniwas Sharma. "During our investigation, we have also found that some of her classmates used bad words towards her. We are probing whether she was depressed due to that or also had some problems at home." The incident took place on Saturday morning at a private school in Jaipur when the Class-4 student was seen (in the CCTV footage) jumping from the fourth floor of the building. The victim's ribs got broken and organs got damaged due to the accident, causing her death, doctors said. An autopsy on the victim's body was conducted, police said. Following the development, the victim's parents also lodged an FIR against the school administration under BNS Section 106 at Mansarovar police station.
