Jaipur, June 7 -- The Rajasthan education department has rolled out a special campaign under the Praveshotsav Abhiyan 2025-26 aimed at bringing children from nomadic, semi-nomadic, and denotified communities into the mainstream schooling system. The initiative comes under the directive of education minister Madan Dilawar, who emphasised that no child-regardless of background-should be left behind when it comes to education. As part of the campaign, special teams have been formed to visit settlements and encampments of nomadic communities. These teams are tasked with identifying children of school- or Anganwadi-going age and assisting families with the enrollment process. The education department has instructed school heads to issue Nomadic Identity Certificates where needed, allowing children to be admitted even in the absence of conventional documents. "Bringing these children into classrooms is not just about enrolment-it's about justice," said Sitaram Jat, director of elementary education, said. "We have issued instructions to all government school to ensure no child remains out of school."...
