Edu dept rolls out prakhar abhiyan 2.0
Jaipur, Sept. 29 -- The Rajasthan Education Department has rolled out Prakhar Rajasthan Abhiyan 2.0, a 90-day state-wide campaign in government schools to strengthen the reading and learning abilities of students from Classes III to VIII. Running until December 5, according to a release from the education department.
The release adds that a unique feature of the campaign is the active involvement of parents alongside teachers and students. Mega Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) have been organized to allow parents to track their children's progress and participate in the learning process.
Building on the success of last year's Prakhar Rajasthan Abhiyan, AI-based Oral Reading Fluency assessments have been introduced this year to better monitor reading skills.
The key features of the campaign include daily scheduled additional learning activities, encouraging students through small and achievable goals, regular progress assessments, and continuous monitoring by senior officials....
